updated policies and visitor guidelines

At Vivi Women’s Health, we are committed to providing a safe experience for our patients while continuing to provide exceptional care during the ongoing COVID pandemic. We are SO encouraged by the decreasing COVID numbers and the rapid distribution of COVID vaccines. There appears to be light at the end of this very long tunnel! We are incredibly hopeful that we can soon return to business as usual, because we miss seeing your smiling faces! However, the threat of COVID is still present and we want to continue to protect our precious and often vulnerable patient population as well as our staff.

Virtual Check In and Visitor Screening

Please call the office upon your arrival for virtual check-in. A staff member will instruct you on the next steps. In order to maintain social distancing in our waiting areas, patients and guests may be asked to wait in their car until a room is ready. All patients and visitors will be asked a series of questions about recent symptoms and will have a temperature check prior to entering the office.

Masks

We continue to follow the recommendations of the CDC and the Texas Medical Board and require masks in our offices. Patients and guests should wear masks throughout the office visit, including while waiting in exam rooms.

Visitor Policy

We want to keep everyone safe, but we also know that your physical and emotional health depends on the emotional support of those closest to you. We continue to limit visitors at this time, but are excited that we can now welcome one adult support person to your most important visits. Patients may bring one adult visitor with you to your initial pregnancy visit and ultrasound, your second trimester anatomy ultrasound, pre-operative appointments and in-office procedure visits. Infants in a covered stroller or carrier are permitted at postpartum visits. Visitors may also be allowed in other special situations at the discretion of the office. If you are unclear whether a visitor is allowed at your visit, please contact the office for clarification.
